开始设置时，从卡组中取出20至40张卡，形成Splurt！卡组。 卡的数量取决于玩家希望游戏持续多长时间。 如果游戏时间较短，可以少用一些卡。 剩下的卡可以放在一边。
洗牌，把所有的牌转到相同的方向，然后把它放在游戏区的中心。 粉红色的一面应该朝上。 游戏准备开始了!
游戏玩法
然后翻开Splurt! Deck最上面的卡片，露出卡片的黑色面。 粉色面写着一个类别，黑色面写着答案的标准。 然后玩家必须喊出一个符合卡片上两个标准的答案。
第一个给出正确答案的玩家可以保留这张黑牌。 然后翻开新的顶牌，开始新一轮的游戏。 游戏将一直持续到牌组中没有牌可翻为止。 这时，玩家将统计他们所收集的牌的数量。 赢家将拥有最多的牌!
游戏结束
当牌组中只剩下一张牌时，游戏就结束了。 拥有最多的牌的玩家赢得游戏！最后一轮可以作为平局。
